Our type 1 diabetes and allergies - coveredPearl Dliwayo, Johannesburg March 2010Sphiwe my son of 17yrs was diagnosed with type1 diabetes at the age of 16yrs. We had to do a 360 degree turn to make sure we don't isolate him and have only him on a healthy diet, but rather support him.
